How To Set Up Reports Configuration In Magento 2

STEPS FOR SET UP REPORTS CONFIGURATION IN MAGENTO 2     

Year-To-Date Starts: Specify the month and day on which year-to-date calculations are based. So the first option has numbers 1-12, i.e. a month. The second option has the numbers 1-31, so those are the days. You can choose the one from which you want to start the calculation. 

Current Month Starts: Specify the day of the month that is used in calculations to mark the beginning of the current month. So here also you will get a number from 1-31, you can select the date from which you want to consider the start of the month and the relevant calculations.

General Options:

STEP 1: Enable Reports: If disabled, all report events will be disabled. By default “YES” Selected.

STEP 2: Enable “Product View” Report: If enabled, will collect statistics of viewed product pages. It means you might have seen the feature of Most Viewed Product, so Magento gathers this data if this report is enabled.

STEP 3: Enable “Send Product Link to Friend” Report: If enabled, will collect statistics of product links sent to a friend. It will show this data in a report that how many your visitors have used this feature and send a product link to a friend if enabled.

STEP 4: Enable “Add Product To Compare List” Report: Similar to above, if enabled, it will record the data of products added for comparison by customers.

STEP 5: Enable “Product Added To Cart” Report: If enabled, it will record the data of products added to the cart by your customers.

STEP 6: Enable “Product Added To Wishlist” Report: Same for Wishlist

STEP 7: Enable “Share Wishlist” Report: Share Wishlist Report
