As you all know that every updated version brings with it some new functions. All of you are also getting excited to know about this new version.

Let’s know what’s new in Magento 2.4.6?
Adobe commerce supports PHP 8.2 and 8.1 for the introduction to Magento 2.4.6. But Adobe Commerce has dropped support for PHP 7.4
This includes the most important significant performance and scalability.
Magento 2.4.6 new version includes more than 300 quality improvements & enhancements. In newer versions of core composer dependencies and third-party libraries will be upgraded with PHP 8.2.
Security Enhancement changes:
Adobe is always making innovative efforts for the security of the Magento platform.
Because of these efforts, the new version includes 8 new security fixes and platform security improvements.
Earlier when we used to process checkout of payment, we used to get errors which will not come in this new version. Your RECAPTCHA will not fail either.
Along with this, you will get many other features like regarding security.
IP allow listing, Two factor authentication, use VPN, use unique location, etc…
Platform Enhancement:
- For support in Magento 2.4.6, PHP 8.2 has been added. Also it supports PHP 8.1.
- PHP 7.4 support has been removed in the new version. You can’t use it.
- In this version 2.4.6 composer 2.2.x. Supported that and Composer 1.x deprecated.
- Redis 6.2 will continue alongside Redis 7.0.x. Because Redis 6.2 may last until 2024.
- This version 2.4.6 supports ElasticSearch 8.x.
- This includes support for MariaDB 10.6.
Performance & Scalability Enhancements:
- Configure operational performance settings to create or optimise customer segments.
- In this new version we improved product grid performance by limiting the number of products displayed in the product grid.
- With high quality performance per minute 10000 records can be imported.
- Highly improved order processing performance through load balancing.
Accessibility Updates:
- The focus of the release is on making PWA perceptible, operable, understandable, and robust with a more experiential approach.
- The visual text label for the Sign In button matches its qualified name.
- Keyboard users can access all page functions on the storefront.
Payment Type Braintree:
- Payment buttons and banners have been allowed for Italy and Spain on Braintree.
- Later payment messages have been linked with PayPal Vault.
- Fraud Protection and ACH webhook have been added in the new version.
GraphQL Enhancements:
- Improvements have been made that enabled better response times related to querying categories with category permissions.
- Performance in the GraphQL resolver. Has been optimised better.
- The response time for bulk cart operations has been reduced due to the graphical interface.
Page Builder:
Page Builder v.1.7.3 is compatible with Adobe Commerce Magento 2.4.6.
PWA Studio:
PWA Studio v.13.0.x is compatible with Adobe Commerce Magento 2.4.6
FIXED CRUCIAL ISSUES IN 2.4.6:
- Many changes have been made in this version. Such as installation, upgrade & deployment.
- A drag-and-drop feature has been added to the page borders for importing multiple images at once.
- Fixed an issue with incorrect records in the staging dashboard.
- Buttons in the keyboard now work with checkout input.
