STEPS FOR CONFIGURE THE DEFAULT PAGE IN MAGENTO 2
Step 1: First go to the Magento 2 store Admin Panel and login.
Step 2: Now go to the menu bar on the side. Click on the Store > Configuration > Web > General Option.
Explore the Default Pages tab and proceed with the following configuration:
- Default Web URL: Add the default value CMS or add something else value as per your requirement.
- CMS Home Page: Now admin have to choose that page which you want to choose your home page.
- Default No-Route URL: You can add default value or you can add other value as per your requirement.
- CMS No Route Page: Error 404 Page Not Found Select the 404 Page Not Found value to display the CMS page when the error is displayed.
- CMS No Cookies Page: If cookies are not enabled in the browser, the administrator must select Enable Cookies from the dropdown to display the CMS page.
- Show Breadcrumbs for CMS Pages: The admin needs to display the breadcrumb trail at the top of all CMS pages, then they have to select yes.

Step 3: Now go to the SAVE Configuration.
