STEPS FOR SET SEARCH WEIGHT IN MAGENTO 2.
Step 1: First go to the Magento 2 store Admin Panel and login.
Step 2: Now go to the menu bar on the side. Click on the Stores > Attributes > Product.
Step 3: Now click on the Attributes option & set search weight.
Step 4:Now from the ATTRIBUTE INFORMATION tab choose Storefront Properties.
- Choose YES in USE IN SEARCH field for including the attribute in search weight.
- In the Search Weight field, you can choose from number 1 to 10. 1 is the minimum value and 10 is the maximum value. The default value for the Search Weight field is 1 if the admin does not set any number.
Step 5: Click on Save Configuration completing the process.
